1. Grading and Authenticity?

All items have been professionally graded to the Australian and International standard with over 35 years of experience. Vintage Coins and Banknotes guarantees the authenticity of items sold and does not sell any fake or counterfeit items.

2. Will I be notified when my order is being sent?

You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been placed. Another email will be sent when your order has been processed. One last email will be sent when your order has been shipped. You will need to provide your email address to receive these notifications when you register an account.

3. How long will it take for my order to be processed?

We will endeavour to process orders within 2 working days, please allow up to 7-14 days to receive your order. Overseas customers please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your order.

4. What are the Australian shipping charges?

All domestic orders over AUD$250 will receive free shipping and items are sent via Registered Post only. Orders under AUD$150 will cost AUD$15 to ship. For orders over AUD$800 will receive free Platinum Express shipping.

For overseas orders shipping will cost AUD$30. Express shipping is available please contact us for details.

5. What happens if my order has been lost or damaged during transit?

Every care will be taken in packaging goods for shipment. For added peace of mind we always use Registered Post tracking. In the unlikely event of damaged or lost goods we do not take responsibility as it is out of our control. To date we have never had this happen.

6. Is it safe and secure to purchase items from your website?

Our website uses the latest encrypted technology in order to protect your details. Vintage Coins and Banknotes is a family owned business and we want to ensure you have a pleasant shopping experience.

7. Can I pick up my order directly?

Yes, arrangements can be made for you to come and pick up your goods directly. Please contact us.

8. Do you buy coins and banknotes from the public?

If you are wanting to sell a collection or for a valuation please contact us via our free call number or email. We can arrange an appointment at a time and place to suit you, we pay cash on the spot for all coins, banknotes and gold.

9. International orders and payments

For International orders shipping will cost AUD$30 registered for banknotes and coins, larger and heavier items will cost more and will incur additional charges . Express shipping is available please contact us for details and costs.
